What Is a Cacao Ceremony?

Ceremonial cacao is medicine for the heart and nervous system.

For thousands of years, cacao has been used in sacred ceremonies to open the heart, facilitate emotional release, and create deeper connection—to self, to spirit, to community.

Unlike the processed chocolate we're used to, ceremonial-grade cacao is pure, minimally processed, and prepared with intention. It contains theobromine (a gentle heart-opener), magnesium (for nervous system regulation), and compounds that increase blood flow and promote a sense of warmth, openness, and presence.

In ceremony, cacao:

This isn't a coffee replacement or a casual beverage. This is intentional plant medicine work.

What Happens in a Private Cacao Ceremony

Setting Intention

We begin by creating sacred space and setting your personal intention for the ceremony. What are you calling in? What are you ready to release?

Drinking the Medicine

You'll mindfully drink ceremonial cacao while I guide you through the opening ritual. Feel the warmth spread through your body as the medicine begins to work.

Journey Inward

Through guided meditation, sound healing, and somatic practices, we create space for your heart to open and for whatever needs to surface to come through safely.

Integration

After the journey, we close the ceremony with grounding practices and integration support. You'll receive guidance on how to honor what came through.
